On my Instagram bio, it says “occasional blogger” and for a long time, that was true.

Blogging has always been a space for me to share observations, tips, and stories. But over time, “occasional” turned into “hardly ever.”

Life got full. I became a toddler mom, continued building Betancourt Group, committed to the Air Force Reserves, and took on new projects. At the same time, I found myself expressing ideas more quickly through speaking, podcasts, and video. Writing took a back seat. Recently, while working on my speaking website, I came back to this question: What do I want this blog to be now?

For a while, I didn’t have an answer. And that’s part of why it’s been quiet here. What I do know is this: I still want this to be a space that offers value. A place where I can share insights as I navigate building a business, motherhood, and stepping into new opportunities.

People often ask me how I do it all—and the truth is, I don’t. Not all at once. So this blog is coming back, with a bit more clarity.

Going forward, you’ll see more thoughtful, practical posts on where I go, how I move through rooms, what I’m building, and what I’m learning along the way. We’ll see where it goes.
