Over the last couple of weeks, a few quotes have really stayed with me. They’ve reminded me of my resilience, the importance of pushing beyond my comfort zone, and the things I still want to achieve.

I tend to save words that speak to me, and every now and then, I like to share them in case they resonate with someone else, too.

Here are five quotes that have been on my mind this fall:

“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”  –   Rikki Rogers

“There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.” – Elbert Hubbard

“You can only grow if you’re willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.”  –  Brian Tracy

“There can be no stronger criticism than self-criticism and no harsher judge than ourselves.”  –  R. De Board

“Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment.”  –  Ralph Waldo Emerson
